Emotional Release Writing Class
- Join Britta for an hour of emotional release writing. We’ll start the first 5-10 minutes in guided breath work and light stretches before diving into guided exercises for releasing emotions and connecting with yourself in a peaceful and purposeful way. This class is perfect for adults finding it difficult to carve time out for themselves and looking to release stuck emotions in a peaceful and non-harmful way.
- Class dates: Last Saturday of the month from 10:00-11:00am CST starting on January 25, 2025, live via Zoom.
Make certain to buy your class at least an hour before the class’s start-time in order to ensure you receive the Zoom link in a timely manner. If you book in under 30 minutes before, you’ll be added to the next class’s roster. Thanks for your understanding!

About the instructor:
Britta Jensen has spent 21 years in literacy education and the publishing world. She is the award-winning novelist of the Eloia Born series, Ghosts of Yokosuka and numerous short stories, including a story in the recently published Mixed Bag of Tricks. She has also received numerous awards, including the General Sharp Award, for her teaching of creative writing and literature. Many of her stories explore themes of persevering through disability, parental separation and the intersection of various cultures in new worlds. She holds a BA in Acting Performance from Fordham University and an MA in Teaching of English Literature from Columbia University. Friends often refer to her as a polyglot—which is a product of living twenty-two years overseas in Japan, South Korea, and Germany before settling in Austin, Texas with her awesome tailor/capoerista husband.
